• Over 18 years experience in household management
• Extensive experience managing fine homes, working with and motivating staff
• Practical, congenial, positive, trustworthy, and honest
• Self-starter that is comfortable trying new things; quick at learning, and proactive
• Exceptionally high standards of accountability, flexibility, and a “can do” attitude
• Excellent troubleshooter and problem solver; resourceful with superior organizational skills
• Cordial, a team player, polished, and remains calm under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail, and willingness to handle responsibilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in formal and casual table settings and service
• Well educated in luxury items such as fine art, antiques, and high end clothing
• Proficient at overseeing household systems (ex: “Smart home” systems, HVAC, electrical, internet, alarm, a/v equipment etc.)
• Excellent IT skills; in-depth knowledge of PC and MAC; well versed in MS Office
• Experience overseeing and managing construction projects
• Eye for detail, aesthetics, and an understanding of high-end furnishings
• Exceptional problem-solver with a high sense of urgency and follow-through
• Able to roll-up-sleeves, delegate, and manage deadlines for self and others

• Flexible and able to accommodate spontaneous changes to routines and plans
• Hiring, scheduling, training, and general welfare of domestic staff
• Working with the existing domestic team to keep the home in a "state of readiness"
• Coordinating with vendors and maintenance staff; pro-active maintenance calendar
• Directing day-to-day operations and general maintenance of the properties
• Overseeing all repairs, design projects, seasonal landscaping, and renovations
• Assisting principals with planning and execution of special events
• Answering and screening phone calls; greeting visitors and houseguests
• Directing the care and maintenance of automobiles etc.
• Management of household budget; completing monthly financial reports
• Maintaining household operations manuals
• Managing wine collection, including research, purchasing, storage and wine/food pairings
